| Tee Ball: Class of 2010 |
The Gozo Tornadoes Baseball Club, in collaboration with the Malta Baseball & Softball Association, will open Tee Ball on Saturday, the 15th of October. Tee Ball is an introduction to the sport of baseball and softball for young children. Tee Ball develops the primary baseball skills of hitting, running, fielding and throwing.
Tee Ball in Gozo is open for children ages three to seven years old. Sessions will be an hour long, starting at 1:30PM. (Kindly note that venue has not yet been confirmed. An email will be sent to all applicants once confirmation is done). Twenty sessions will be held over twenty weeks. A fee of €33 per child entitles you to ten sessions for the winter or spring season or €60 per child for twenty sessions covering both the winter and spring.
Each child should come to the sessions in their tee ball kits which consist of tee shirt and/or sweat shirt, red cap and baseball glove. White baseball pants(trousers) are also advised, but not mandatory. Jacket, team socks, and belt are optional. Each child will be required to purchase a Wiffle bat and ball when they register for the first time.
First timers can also let their child try tee ball for two FREE sessions before registration.
